Caroma Helps Plumbers Solve an Age-Old Problem for Wall Faced Suite Installation

Caroma’s patented Uni-Orbital technology will become a time- and frustration- saver for plumbers nationwide.  It is an ideal installation solution for renovating, retrofitting existing bathrooms or even building a new bathroom. 

The Uni-Orbital technology is uniquely adjustable, with the ability to extend a toilet set out in any position up to a 50mm radius.  With rotating upper and lower bodies, it becomes easier for the plumber to install a toilet suite to existing pipework, saving both time and money.

Traditional connectors generally only move backwards and forwards.  However, the Uni-Orbital Connector has radial adjustment.  This makes it easier for plumbers to align the toilet suite with the tiles, buttons, cistern flush pipe or drainline.  It also allows plumbers to install a wall faced suite clear of stop cocks or to make better use of the available space within a bathroom.

Available in two different formats – standard and compact – the Uni-Orbital Connector pushes directly into the drainline without the need for a separate pan collar.  The compact version comes with the new reduced projection pans from Caroma.  This allows for the standard set out range to be maintained with the shorter pans, making them ideal for small bathrooms where space is limited.

The Uni-Orbital Connector has been designed to feature large trap throughways in all configurations of the rotating bodies.  This reduces the risk of siphonage and ensures the effective flushing performance plumbers have come to expect from all Caroma toilet suites.
